Ruby & Rose Hair Studio: No worries, thanks for having me.

Host: So just to start us off, what does a typical day at Ruby & Rose actually involve?

Ruby & Rose Hair Studio: Yeah, so it's a real mix. Cuts, colour, balayage, highlights, blow-dries. And then hair-up for weddings and nights out as well.

Host: That's a lot to offer under one roof.

Ruby & Rose Hair Studio: It is, yeah. We also do treatments, for when hair's a bit damaged and needs building back up. People don't always think to ask about that bit.

Host: Oh, that's good to know.

Host: So what would you say makes you different from other salons out there?

Ruby & Rose Hair Studio: Honestly? It starts with the consultation. Every single appointment, we sit down and have a proper chat first.

Host: Right, so you're not just straight into it.

Ruby & Rose Hair Studio: No, never. We listen before we touch anyone's hair. We're not rushing people through.

Host: That sounds like it changes the whole feel of the place.

Ruby & Rose Hair Studio: It does. We want it to feel like you're catching up with mates, not like you're on a conveyor belt.

Host: I love that.

Host: And with colour specifically, is there a particular approach you take?

Ruby & Rose Hair Studio: Yeah, we're known for doing colour that actually suits you. Not just whatever's trending that month.

Host: So it's tailored rather than following the latest thing.

Ruby & Rose Hair Studio: Exactly that. What looks good on someone else might not be right for you, you know. We'd rather get it right for your face, your skin tone, all that.

Host: So who would you say this is really best for?

Ruby & Rose Hair Studio: Anyone who wants a stylist that actually listens, really. But especially people who are a bit nervous about trying something new.

Host: Yeah?

Ruby & Rose Hair Studio: A big colour change, going a lot lighter or darker, that can feel scary. We take the time so it doesn't feel like a gamble.

Host: And brides as well, I'd imagine?

Ruby & Rose Hair Studio: Definitely. Brides want their hair sorted without the stress, don't they. That's kind of the whole point for us.

Host: And day to day, what sort of customers do you see coming through the door most?

Ruby & Rose Hair Studio: Honestly, a bit of everyone. Some just want a regular cut and blow-dry, some are in for colour work, some are booking in for a big night out.

Host: So it's not just the big occasions, then.

Ruby & Rose Hair Studio: Not at all. Plenty of it's just normal, everyday stuff. We just try to treat it the same either way, whether it's a wedding or just a Tuesday trim.
