Who we are
GetHeardOf is a trading name of Mark Kelly, a sole trader operating from Oakdene Close, Portslade, Brighton, East Sussex, BN41 2RN, United Kingdom, contactable at getheardof@gmail.com. These terms apply whenever you use the free sample or purchase a plan on this site.
What GetHeardOf does
GetHeardOf turns a few answers about your business into an AI-generated, interview-style audio episode. We offer a free sample (around 45 seconds, one per email address and per business name, no payment required) and paid plans that each produce a full episode of around 3 minutes per episode credit used.
Accounts & payment
Paid plans are billed through Stripe using the email address you provide at checkout. Each plan includes a set number of episode credits; generating an episode uses one credit. It’s your responsibility to use the same email address to generate episodes as the one you purchased with.
AI-generated content
Every episode is fully AI-generated: the script is written by AI based only on the answers you give us, and both voices you hear are AI text-to-speech. It is not a recording of a real conversation. We don’t independently check or verify the accuracy of anything you tell us about your business, and that responsibility sits with you. Please make sure any claims you ask us to include are accurate and don’t breach advertising or consumer protection law; we may decline or remove content we reasonably believe is false, misleading, defamatory, or unlawful.
Your responsibilities
- Give us accurate information about your business.
- Don’t use GetHeardOf to generate content that is illegal, defamatory, or misleading.
- You’re responsible for how and where you publish or share the resulting episode.
Ownership
You own the audio episode and transcript generated for your business, and are free to use it for your own marketing and promotion. We don’t claim any ownership over your business information or the finished episode.
Credits & refunds
Each generation attempt uses one episode credit and produces a finished MP3. If something goes wrong on our end during generation, your credit is automatically returned to your account. We don’t offer refunds simply because you’d have preferred a different creative result, but if something’s gone wrong, get in touch and we’ll look at it case by case.
Your episodes are made from exactly the details you give us, including your website and the voice you choose. Please check them carefully before you confirm. We can’t remake or refund episodes made with the voice you chose or with details you entered incorrectly. You can update your details at any time for future episodes.
Service availability
GetHeardOf is provided on an “as is” basis. We may update, change, or temporarily suspend the service from time to time, and we can’t guarantee it will always be available without interruption.
Limitation of liability
To the fullest extent permitted by law, GetHeardOf is not liable for any indirect or consequential loss arising from your use of the service. Our total liability to you in connection with these terms is limited to the amount you’ve paid us in the 3 months before the issue arose.
Ending your account
We may suspend or close an account that we reasonably believe is abusing the service, for example, attempting to claim the free sample repeatedly using different details.
Changes to these terms
We may update these terms as the service develops. Continuing to use GetHeardOf after an update means you accept the revised terms.
Governing law
These terms are governed by the laws of England and Wales.
